Samaṇa Program | Disclaimer

Our purpose is to help participants develop via inner work emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. This includes growing in group sessions that are led by a facilitator, in dyadic practice with an assigned peer, and via self-practice. Periodically and based on your package, the facilitator-led group session will be replaced by a 1-on-1 call with a facilitator. Our goal is to grow using both practice and theory.

We have broken down inner work into four facets and listed some of the growth modalities we use (subject to changes; list not exhaustive):

Growing up: relate to oneself & others harmoniously; “use Self to relate to others”
  • Interpersonal Meditation – Circling
Cleaning up: learn emotional healing; “be comfortable in Self”
  • Art Therapy
  • Internal Family Systems
Waking up: expand awareness; “let go of Self”
  • Meditation
  • Breathwork
Showing up: do something worthwhile doing; “do something worthwhile with Self”
  • Efficiency of Heart & Mind

Everything that we offer is voluntary, however, we expect Samaṇa program participants who join to have an open mind and heart. We’re happy to discuss with you beforehand or at any time during the Samaṇa program what this might entail for you, what boundaries feel good for you, and how to best take the next step.

For the Samaṇa program overall and for each session, please assess your own needs and expectations. Please come with an open heart and mind and ensure the time is as distraction free as possible and that you have a reliable and fast internet connection. If you are overwhelmed - for example - and don’t want to come to a session, please consider coming and bringing this up. This is the type of thinking we encourage. However, you are fully empowered to choose your own thinking and decisions.

As we learn, we will make mistakes. Mistakes happen when we do something in a certain way and get an outcome that doesn’t meet our expectations. So when expectations or mistakes arise, please notice what you expected, what actually happened, and be curious about what is behind all of that. If tension or friction comes up at any point, please feel free to voice that out during the session or reach out to the Samaṇa Team. Tension can be a useful indicator and we trust in you being able to discern how to deal with it.

Since this is a learning environment with peers, we ask everyone to take full responsibility for their own experience. Please do your best to take responsibility for your own experience, get curious, and support the space for others to do the same. We are not here to fix, heal, rescue, or project onto anyone. If you sense any of that is happening, please do your best to support the space and take responsibility for what is yours. If help is needed, please notify the facilitator(s).
To facilitate a conducive environment for growth, we ask that you treat everything that's being shared within the Samana Program as confidential and do not disclose this to outsiders. This will help create a safe space for every participant and help inviting playfulness and experimentation.

The Samaṇa Program is not therapy or crisis management. If you are in crisis, or may be a danger to yourself or others, please leave the session and make an emergency call. This group is not intended to provide sufficient support for you at this time. Participants who attempt to use these sessions for therapy or crisis management may be asked to leave the session and possibly the Samaṇa program.

If, after reading this disclosure, or at any time during these sessions, you don’t believe the Samaṇa program is right for you, please feel free to leave the session or the program.

To secure your spot, a 50€ non-refundable deposit is required.
Please pay this before the start of the Samaṇa program either via PayPal or bank transfer. The details and payment deadline are included in the welcome email from us.
